BD-5 mid mounted motor----Plan Added
Here is an idea I had kicking around a bit. It has been fun doing mid mounted foamy jets so I thought why not try it with the BD5. My goal was to hopefully make it stable and easy to hit the CG by not having the motor in the back.
I drew it up and laser cut it. Our good friend Glade put her together. This AM I test flew with no issues. If there is any interest I can whip up the plan. I'm not sure of the motor specs as I borrowed it from a friend. The 1/64 ply I used on the bottom to tie everything together.
Material 6mm depron and 1/64 ply
Battery 450 3 cell

As far as kits. I would love to but I just have no time with all the work I have. I couldn't even build this one myself. It's a pretty simple build and the 1/64 ply can be cut with a pair of scissors.
