Anyon build the Zwarte zee from a Billing kit ?
Hello
I am having a prpoblem with this kit , I got it from a Hobby store last year and come to find out it was old stock from the 80S . The problem I am having is the deck is not fitting into the hull , at the bow the deck is more rounded but the hull is more pointed ? wondering if I have a newer hull ? I contacted a dealer in Canada for billing boats and he told me I had a 1980's kit due to the fact all the wood ,windos,port holes and so on has to be hand cut its not lazer cut at all. So if anyone has run across this miss fitting deck to hull please let me know I will try to get up some pics . Thank you for your time . one more thing the hull is the plastic ABS |

I haven't, but I also wouldn't trust the deck to fit, and I wouldn't fret none.
Frame the hull (beams and gunwale strips), then use the "thousand bits of paper" method to develop a proper fitting deck. Actually, cardstock not paper... |
