Here is a shot of the propeller support fins as they came out. The plan is to cast these parts as part of the hull and as one piece with the bearings in place so that the end user wont have to knock their brains in trying to get everything lined up proper.

There have been a requests to have the kit supplied with the polar ice sail so one is getting put together. In the end you will just request which sail you want with the kit or both.

Now the polar sail is complete and this conclude all of the cnc work with this boat. Pics of the props will be up soon.

There has been some questions as to the actual size of the boat due to the large size of the CNC. Here is a pics next to a ruler and a shot of both sails.

I am pretty pleased with them as well!
I am going to have the ones for the Skate grown on a lithograph machine. Anyone ever seen that video Jay Leno did with one of these rapid prototype machines?

Nextengine

These machines are as low $5,000.00 that will 3D print a coffee cup size object.Jay's machine is around $15,000.00.The 3D laser copier is only around $2,000.00.

The average small plate Litho machine is around $50,000. If you have found one for 5K let me know. I want it!
