Yard Bee wing almost complete
Got a bunch of work done on the wing. Went together well with only some minor adjusting to get everything to fit together right.
Once all the pieces were cut and final sanded to match the plans I put together the center section of the wing using a triangle to keep everything square and tack glued it together.
I then added the wingtips that took a bit of tweaking to get them to fit right but once I did a little trimming they fit right. Using the jig I made I was able to ge the dihedral set right and glued the wing tips.
After looking over all the joints to make sure it was square, I went over all the glue joints with thin ca. I was planning to sand the wing to today, but I am unable to due to the weather since I have to do major sanding outdoors.
