My new Jiglet

My old Jiglet (better known as Piglet) died in a crash. This is the replacement made from 2mm Selitac. AUW is 24 grams

I must get some selitac, it looks like handy stuff. Does it come in different colours?

That is just beautiful.
I have been Jiglet building too........getting a digicam this sumemr .
I would like to get some too, not quite as light as 2mm wallfoam, yet looks better, and probably stronger. Sounds good .

Michael,
Very nice. The Selitac I have is sort of greenish. Were you able to get white Selitac. Also, I can't remember. Are you the original designer of the Jigglet? Or, do you just make more of them than anyone else?

Nice wheels.

Neither! I made about a million Jiglets before finding my problem was interference not the model. I had dead fusys stuck to my wall!!

It was designed by Simon from the Aeronutz.

Gordon, the white Selitac was bought some years ago in Germany. Lately I have only seen the green stuff there. I have a roll of each. Should be enough for a couple of hundred Jiglets so I can beat Grahams record

I know I should try other models but since I have templates I can make one in a single evening while watching the telly.

Michael

PS: Notice the wheels - Oh, you did already

Graham,
I thought it was designed by an Aeronutz, but for a while Michael's tag line was Overseas Aeronutz, or somthing like that. I just had to ask. So, we need all people who have built more than one Jigglet to post in this thread and we'll find out the true record holder.

Epilot.

Is that prop the molded CAM model?
What gearing do you use on the M20?

Thanks

Yep, that's the prop molded on top of the little cam folder. IIRC the gearing is 6:1.

I have been using this same prop for almost 2 years know so it is certainly strong.

Hi Depdog.

The plans are sold by the Aeronutz (for a very small fee).
Unfortunatly they are not avaliably online for copy issuse (althought this may be explored again).

Please contact (the great) Mark at:
mark@aeronutz.flyer.co.uk

More information can be found on the 'nutz site:
http://www.aeronutz.flyer.co.uk/plans.htm

Hope this helps.
