I've been looking forward to this from my first visit in '08. Nut's bad to say about anything. Work has major testing planned on a project I support in Lakehurst NJ.

I'm planning on being there as long as the weather forcast is reasonable. This is the best event I've ever been to or fallen out of a truck for.

The planning has continued. Website would be ready to receive registrations but paypal has us jumping through hoops.
One exciting bit of news is we will have plenty of shade this year. Here is a model of the tent that will be set up on the South Side of the Point. We will be serving food and making announcements from the tent. There will be tables and chairs set up and we will have a mini refrigerated trailer for cold drinks and water.
The entire Point of the Mountain flight park has been reserved again for this year.

If we get North winds at the point of the mountain we will have access to the gate which will allow driving access to the top North ridge. For South winds we can take some groups out to Eagle Mountain for some evening DSing. Eagle Mountain is a great place to fly but is a bit rocky for landing big composite planes.
Here is some old video from Eagle Mountain:
Here are a few videos of North Ridge Point of the Mountain:
