How to dull iron-on glossy finsih?

Hello ......... there are great lightweight products out there to covering models most of which come in either gloss or see through finishes. How can you dull the finish of these materials to achieve a more realistic doped fabric/tissue look? I've read a little about prymol - what are most guys using?

Thanks

For most smaller free flight models tissue and dope is so much lighter, which is needed for the success of the model, that we get around the issue by using tissue and dope.

What size of model are you talking about? Or did you think that a lot of free flighters are using plastics?

By the way. you said in another thread that you're trying to avoid using dope products. Yet the coatings and painting you wish to do over the plastic films are all just as smelly in their own way as the dope.

Litespan is your friend. Tougher than tissue, not as heavy as film, and it has a dull side as well as a shiny one.
