The real Criminal gets NABBED.

Anti-ACORN filmmaker arrested
Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories...#ixzz0dlwBt4xF

Federal authorities have arrested four men on felony charges for attempting to infiltrate Sen. Mary Landrieu’s New Orleans office, including one filmmaker who targeted the community group ACORN last year in damaging undercover videos.

Among those arrested was 25-year-old James O’Keefe, the conservative filmmaker, along with Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan and Stan Dai, all 24. They were charged with entering federal property under false pretenses and attempting to gain access to the Democrat’s office by posing as telephone repairmen, according to a copy of an FBI affidavit unsealed Tuesday.

The complaint said that O’Keefe was waiting in the office when Flanagan and Basel each entered the premises, wearing light green fluorescent vests, denim paints and blue work shirts, tool belts and hard-hats. They informed a member of Landrieu’s staff that they were telephone repairmen and requested access to the main telephone at the reception desk.

At that point, the two men allegedly attempted to manipulate telephones and accessed the telephone closet, saying they needed to work on the entire system. The men, who said they left their credentials in their vehicles, and were later arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Service soon afterward. O’Keefe was allegedly involved with planning, coordination, and preparation of the operation, according to an FBI news release.

I dont believe thats true. The editting took away the part where they scammed Acorn, with a sob story about SAVING these young girls from a life in prostitution. A very mean pimp. They wanted to get the house, to shield the girls. The scam, was how they editted it, and hid all the cuttings.

That's your opinion,, I personally know two families in Chicago who were prevented from being thrown into the street by greedy Banksters. ACORN Lawyers and Case Workers negotiated with the Banksters, these families kept there homes, worked through there financial problems and were back to making full mortgage payments in less then a year.

If Obama is behind some kind of plan to "get" O'Keefe.. He (Obama) will get caught. The people who surround him are slackers and trust fundies.. Not Ollie Norths. They will not take the fall for him.

This would get him impeached...

makes perfect sence to arrest the people that brought this to light. how dare they, we can't have criminals getting exposed!!!! and what about all the acorn voter registration fraud??? brushed to the side and forgotten about. and now some judge rules that it is unconstitutional to withhold tax payers monies from acorn. i've looked at my copy of the constitution and can't seem to find where the government can actually GIVE acorn or any political group money. and lets not forget acorns aims. no, i mean their real aims. the game has been played before. dust off those history books and review the russian revolution. yeah lenin and stalin were going to help the poor, they were going to make everything fair for everyone. and a fine job they did too. then there is china, cambodia, cuba and any number of socialist/communist countries. funny how we got it so wrong yet everyone in the world wants to come here. yes, there are a few movie stars that have taken a stand and refuse to live here. sure is easy to take those stands after you've made several million u.s. dollars and i don't see them giving it all away to the poor, you know, trying to make things fair. in this country everyone has the right to succeed or they can fail. not many places on this earth that can offer that. BUT we are quickly becoming a people that expects others to take care of us and our problems. we are becoming lazy and will soon no longer be a special place. the recent election in mass. has given me a glimmer of hope that there are still some real american spirits out there. people who above all else desire to be free, to shape their own life and then live that life for better or worse. study russia, a people who have been down trodden so long that they seem almost unable to govern themselves. just my rant. ( oh mr. liberal, names don't really hurt me )

It is my opinion that O'keefe is a criminal - but not THE criminal, especially when ACORN is mentioned in the same passage.

That ACORN does some good isn't disputed. Al Capone did some good as well.

Really? No ACORN workers were indicted for criminal activity as a result of offering advice about how best to accomplish smuggling under-aged girls across an international border for the purposes of engaging in prostitution? Strange, I thought there was ample evidence that laws had been broken.

O'Keefe lied - true enough. Investigative journalist do it all the time.

ACORN workers did attempt pretty much what the "documentary" shows. No doubt the film was edited to exagerate the whole thing, and I'm sure that some things complimentary to ACORN were intentionally left out. All in all, ACORN got a fairer shake than the targets of Moore's works. As soon as I hear you react to Moore's work the way you do to O'Keefe's, I'll pay more attention.

At least we start on an agreed footing. I never said the low level emps were winners.

Oh, I have, and I put him in the same hysterical group, relatively speaking, as beck, olbermann, hannity, oreilly, limbaugh.

did they actually pay *all* the costs of the delinquency? Legal action, interest on the lost payments...all of the costs incurred by violating their own agreement to pay for what they chose to purchase?

Ah yeah. I believe it would fall under a little thing called "conspiracy", and not the tinfoil hat kind either.

No ACORN workers have been arrest or indicted,,, the information was only offered to O'keefe and his cronies,, are you inferring they are involved in criminal activity..
