Dates for meeting are now set for the weekend 10-11th July.

We are booked in to a campsite ‘Holt Farm’ in the Midlands near to Coventry.

We will be splitting into teams for various AP AV missions during the weekend.

Anyone interested in attending ether on both or one of these days or just come along for a chat, all are welcome!

Put yourself on the map:

Contingency plan for inclement weather...

We had better plan for a "summer" day this year, how about a visit here if a washout settles in?

The museum opens at the end of May.

Cheers

Hi guys...I am starting a new job and have 3 weeks of training starting on the 15th June but am really hoping that I will not have to work the weekend and join up. Last year was so fun...it's a one of those events you don't want to miss

Hi all,

I have been trying to think of some activates we could get up to during the meeting.

One thing I have come up with is a 'Search And Find' scenario.

Something or someone can be placed in near by fields for teams to find and monitor using AP-AV to gather information.

It could be something quite simple as finding a downed model or more elaborate, the scenario playing out during the course of the day where teams can then collate the information gathered to obtain timeline of events.

Anyway just a few thoughts.

This way we could employ the many various AP-AV platforms for a bit of fun and constructive use.

Anyone interested?

Gray.

PS congratulations on the new job CG.

Perfect, I'm in

How about a lost pint? Oh not that would never happen in this group.

Hi Gary,

I was thinking possibly of using the cricket pitch near Ashore house to fly from?
Depends on how friendly the local farmer is!

Never lost a pint in my life and don’t intend to start now!!

Thanks Gray...I start with Easyjet to train as cabin crew and am really looking forward to it. I will be based out of Bristol. The screening and paper work has been a huge undertaking and then on line training modules with exams also. There is much more to the job than I ever imagined but hey I will get to travel and just bought a Canon G11 which I am sure my LT25 will lift. I am really considering a tricopter. Anyway I am rambling...back to the topic of the meet!

Love this idea!!!

Hey I already found a plane in Corfu at the RC Hotel... can I suggest we arrange this event to take place there?!!??

Be interesting how we all collaborate with our various platforms and come up with a strategy to achieve the mission... however me thinks that those with Live feed type setups (Hogster, Charl) could very well have an advantage!!!

Hmm time to get a 5.8Ghz Vid transmitter/receiver?
