Question
Crazy Ideas. Try or let it die?

Do you ever get a idea or a vision to build something in your head when your gut tells you it will not fly? But you have to build it just to see?

How do you know when to follow through to let the idea fade?

I wouldn't even start thinking about it unless I was already fairly confident it would fly.

That said, I still haven't got my scratch built Pterodactyl to fly properly. Just show it's still easy to be over confident.

Fanfold foam and cheap electric power make it easier than ever to experiment. If you like the results, then you can always scale up the construction.

What would Edison have said if someone asked him to put a million
transistors on a postage stamp?

He would have tried!

How do you know? Maybe he just didn't have time to get around to it!

Do you know where the idea for flip open cell phones came from?

Genius and Insanity... one in the same... wana spend a weekend cruising the solar system? What you are crazy! Yet that is what companies are trying to come up with RIGHT NOW! 50 years ago anyone who said humans would be living in space are nut jobs, but yet since 2 November 2000 a human has always been in space... next 50 years well have vacation on space liners...... My point is... if you have the time, resources, and passion be a tinker, mad scientist or crackpot (well ok you can go without being a crackpot)

heres my crackpot idea http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9442466/tm.htm

Crazy Ideas

I had a crazy Idea, and did it. I became a Dealer for PULSO motors and ESCs.
Great motors and ESCs, but I am my best customer.
Foam flies !
