barneyj,

I'm sure I have that parts' drawing in my CAD files but it would be easier for me if you could slip the ball link back onto it and measure the distance between centers, and measure it as precisely as you can. Or better yet, if you can post a side view of the fuselage so I can see exactly which body frame it was. I can look up the body frame drawings to get the centers from the main gear and wing hinge centers and from that I can get the right length con-rod for you ( in the new style).

Hi Mr Sean

It's 3rd generation Slow hawk just like mine .. where the dual main gears were positioned forward and the points where the con-rods are attached to the aluminum ferrules are in the front of the ferrules not like the current design ... well .. I've decided a photo is much easier to describe it

The exact length from center to center is 40cm

Dear Mr Sean,

I've just received my friends LH... ... and Wow .. This bird is massive ... it seems that ma favorite color is same as your ... yellow wing sail ... and orange tail .. Although I still stuffer from some problems .. but I couldn't resist but to smile .. I was really happy .. thank God I had his little brother my yellow SH standing on the desktop .. otherwise I would crack up and cry for an SK bird ... right away like a 7 years old kid in a toy store ....

.. You see .. you got the point .. you make us happier... so go ahead and make him too

Khaled

Sean,
Your guess is as good as mine regarding the Lazy Hawk con rod for "Flo".
I have not received it and can only imagine that it has ended up in US Post Office hell.......... Please send another one to my new Florida address (see my email to you with the details). Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

Regards,
Art

I've had more stuff get lost in the post office mail this year than ever before.
The parts went to Snook drive. How hard is it for them to forward it to you?
Okay, I will send another one to your new address.

Sean,

Thanks again for taking care of me. I really appreciate it.

My wife is driving me nuts wanting to see my Lazy Hawk fly.
I am really eager to see it fly too (and very lucky that I have a supportive spouse).
I would like to get in some practice before I go to Massachusetts and "dazzle" my flying buddies
They're going to be sooooo jealous.
