Thanks for the info Scott, I am starting to lean 8s (just didnt want to have to buy a second charger ) so with that motor only being 1250kv do you still get some good watts per pound?

Brian,

You could also use the ARC 36-55-1.5 which is in stock. It has a slightly lower KV than the 36-65-1 (1850 vs 2080) but will still produce good power.

8S would probably be pushing it. If you want 8S then the 36-75-1 is the way to go. Lightflight says they expect the long can (65mm and 75mm) 36mm motors back in stock in around 30 days. Not sure if your project can wait that long.
