I missed the 48" Osiris by one entry - I was the third entry and he gave away one to the first and second entry because they "tied".

Well I went flying tonight an would you believe it I busted my motor box up and cracked an chipped my cowl a bunch.
You see I decided to do a inverted flat spin.
I chopped my throttle threw my left stick hard right an full down elev. It did one of the prettiest inverted flatspin I;ve ever seen. Now coming out of the flatspin I noticed the plane was flying funny. K49 told my my rudder was stuck so I tried landing her I got her down to about 2 foot or so and leveled her out. Just before touch down she sthot to the right an nosed in.
Afterlooking it over I found out that when I pushed my rudder stick right for the flatspin my hand pushed the rudder trim button all the way to the right. I didn;t even feel it because my hand is numb an I did't feel it.
Well now I can truely say she's no virgin now

A radio with digital trims where the trim moves only one click when you touch it would add an element of safety. It seems too easy to push any trim button any time, just handling the radio, and then having a wild ride on the takeoff.

Its impressive you were able to land the plane at all with rudder trim that far off.

yes 50" airframes are small but a 50" 3dhs airframe flies a lot bigger. These really are awesome planes. I am super stoked about getting two NIB for that price.

Hey fellas, I hope you are all well. Things are going much better lately but still no time or energy for flying. Anyway that gives some of you a chance to catch up with me.... Or leave me further behind, whatever the case! Lol

No way I will ever catch up on the thread but knowing this group, you are all still welcoming new members and helping everyone you can. Keep it up!

I must say, my thumbs have been getting itchy lately, so maybe I will carve out some time just for me and get in a flight or two. First I have to spend a little time in the shop getting my gear back in good order.

Well, gotta run, but I do think about you folks from time to time. If anyone needs me, Shane has my email or ask Bob to give me a call, I'll always do what I can for my Twisted brothers.

Hey PB!

Here is a nose cam view of a maiden flight on a new Easy Star. Some spins, loop, and inverted flight.
