Yes in the air lol. I was trying to do one with my twist but I know I don't have enough elevator throw. I was just wondering if anyone else has been able to do it. Wondering if its possible. My 48" edge did it really well on the two flights I had on it before meeting terra-firma.

I did a nice KE spin at 2:30 on this flight.
48" Edge 2nd flight and rx lockout (7 min 26 sec)

If you always get good signal in certain areas and constant poor signal in the same areas it most likely is outside inteference.

could also be the video tx antanna or the rx antenna not being aimed in that dirrection
you would be surprised how video can be made better if the patch or yagi is aimed
sometimes actually not dirrectly at the plane but sometimes off to the side as an example or up or down.

I put the patch on my head and aim it that way for best video results, and use a 3 or 6 dbi video omni for the video tx.

your rx's for video could also be not tuned the same and act differently and mess up the divercity controler

I like to keep it as simple as possable

this video was useing a 6 dbi omni but I prefer the 3 dbi because the 6 seems to be a bit rocky for reception.

wiggle tests also are a good idea to see if feed lines or connectors are a cause of poor video.

try turning around in the opposite patern or see if video is better going back to away from you.

figureing out fpv is not an easy thing todo

David Ill give these ideas a test and see what happens. For all my flights I used to use a directional antenna with a 9db gain and of course the signal was great in front of it and the farther you went out the more to the side you could be because the cone widens. But now all bets are off now so more testing is in order. Ill try the wiggle test on connectors as its possible that something is loose or not making a connection and Im just noticing it.

Tek

Some 4 Strokin Help please

I got this saito 80 on a trade, has new bearings, looks good. I have never run it in the year its been here. I notice a valve cover bolt is loose so I tighten it and it dont. What is a fella to do with something like this?

I was getting some stuff together to sell, if I aint used it in a year, its got to go. I wont sell this to someone in the manner I bought it, not knowing there is an issue, no matter how small. Thoughts?

I also have this FA30 off a Whale Tail, its like a super large Plane/glider polyhydral 80 inch wing plane. It was a running plane from an estate and I am converting to electric for a 8 year old friend. Not sure what this is worth.

Thanks in advance!

here is a video of the twist 40 doing a flat spin at about 1800 feet

this is the first time I ever actually flew a nitro plane fpv

it is very cool to feel the power comparrd to eletric gliders

I love the twist 40, fpv is even cooler for me when a fpv set up is on it

Waldo I went out tonight just for you, you do some cool and crazy things withthe twist 40
and so do I

twist 40v2 flat spin via fpv, os 46 ax (6 min 2 sec)
