Ok fellas, I think the decision has been made to rebuild my T 60. I know it has been covered here before but my question is this: What would y'all recommend for getting raw fuel out of balsa to make the covering stick? Hot dope? Now I turn it over to you guys for comment.

K2r Spot lifter. Spray on, let sit, brush off. Repeat as needed. I have had great success with this stuff.

last time I just sprayed mine with lustrekoat (check spelling) clear fuel proof model paint. I got it from my LHS. I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout.

I'm with Bob. K2r and then I use Balsarite to seal the wood and take the covering.

FunCub is nearly done. It should be fun to play with. I have ailerons and flaps all on separate channels, crow setup, and about 90 degrees of flaps. Wiring all over the place! The wing is pretty heavy with 5 Servos.

I was not going to rebuild the T 60 but finances are too tight right now to buy something else. After further examination, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. First time it has been broke in half (the usual spot) since I've owned it almost 4 years. The wing has a few dings and broken pieces in the ailerons. The hardest part was getting the vertical stab back to 90* as it landed inverted and just bent the wood instead of snapping it off clean. I will have to amonia-water soak the horizontal stab and weight it down on a flat surface as it got warped too.

eh... no. the cowl is ruined and the motor box is shattered. I don't know if I can fix it... there is various damage to the fuse that should be fairly easy. Just the motorbox...
