Not much action since sat night, spent the 4th with the grand boys riding gokarts, mini quads, and motorcycles.
I need to get on the MX and fix the throttle servo tray, I'm trying to find this one piece of ply I got a 3/32 5 layer birch ply
It's where ever I last laid it, but where is that?

Maybe aerial reconnaissance?

I never recovered anything from the EZ* that flew away with camera on board.

I flew my GP Foam YAK this morning. The o-ring on the prop saver was broke. Those a PITA to put on.

The new Super Cub was handed over to the new owner and flight there.

The Avistar was handed over to the new owner.

Built a new EZ* today. Building it for someone else.

Helped do the eletronics on a mini-Funtana for another member today. 28oz plane and we are pulling 220W on 3S.

Another guy is coming over later to work on a sail plane connections.

I have to drive four hours one way for a two hour meeting in the morning.

OOOHHH maybe I can tell Wayne something he doesn't know... and I might be wrong about that anyways... but here goes. Prop saver 0-rings are really EASY to put on with a small flat-head screwdriver. Just use it as a little pry-bar.

But much, much better is a ring created by cutting about 1/8" off of some of that surgical tubing Wayne uses to launch his EZ. The surgical tubing is stronger than the O ring, easier to put on, and lasts a lot longer, but not forever. I usually use two such rings for extra security. It is crazy that they sell the O ring version as the O rings rot pretty quickly.

I take my little #11 blade and cut off about a dozen such rings, and store them so they are ready when I need them. Cheap too!

You have my sympathy. Can't tell you how many times I've done it. The meetings were often next to useless and could have been done by phone. A couple of time the party I was supposed to meet with didn't show and didn't call . Super bummer. One of the best parts of retirement is not having to do the useless meeting travel.

Yuup Guilty as charged.

No vid on the maiden. Typical Telemaster maiden. Take off fly a while. Land. Ho Hum. Still just what I want some days. Hovering and low inverted passes will have wait for a much larger motor and battery pack

Well Thanks for posting the FPV vid of the crash tek heres the camera I caught it with I went searching in the corn field yesterday for the camera as I went to go looik for my needle valve on the runway from the Ultra stick crash I found that but no luck on the camera yet. and I mean YET
The corn was 4 or 5 inches Higher yesterday then it was on saturday its growing fast now.

Stick crash
For the record I was holding full down while inverted and she kept sinking lower and lower until the inevitable. High rates were on, I think something must have been hung up after one of the crazy jam the stick fun spin stunts I did minutes before, thats all I can figure out right now. everything was working fine at take off.
