I found an hour yesterday to fly...the weather was fabulous yesterday here in the Chicago area...would have preferred to have this weather on Saturday when I would have had more time to fly!

Anyway, I had a chance to tach my T___T 60 with my Magnum .91fs on the current prop (a 14x6) and got it to 9500 rpm. I put on the 14x4W prop and tached it at 9800 rpm. Much more importantly, it flew much better! The 14x4w really made a difference in the time it takes to pour on the power and climb out of a maneuver. Flew like a whole different plane! I really like this 14x4w; thanks to those who helped me choose it. I think with a little more tuning I can get the engine up to 10Krpm, but even if I can't, this prop seems to be a very good match for this engine.

For those who are talking about putting this engine on their T___T 40, watch out! This might almost be too much fun to fly.

He removed the turbine powerplant, replaced it with all electric power. Lost 8 lbs in weight, improved performance greatly.

Yeah... Our local guy is all electric and with the NO TAR it sounds just like a turbine. He just changed it over to a 5 blade too.

Rosco I don't add any weight at all to the Bwipe I keep the same setting as I do for the regular T40 just add the extra wing, Its that 3rd wing that really makes all difference in the weight though.

i am in st. louis still trying to get to D-troit.

I think they make a pad for that dampness.

the guy with the crop duster was trying to fly between the trees. he and i are the only ones with the cahones to try to do it on purpose. we usually fly wings through there.

the take off an the at-6 was hilarious. i would not have taken off with the engine running poorly. i think the fuel pressure is low and he does not have enough cooling for sure.

i got the urge to bash a Magic.

That is one of the many product lines the company I work for makes.... We aint got enough even if we toss in the Paper Towel line.

St Louis? Lambert field just got the crap kicked out of it by a Tornado last week. I am guessing it must have just glanced them, I have not heard all the details. I grew up about an hour from there.... Did I ever mention I HATE TORNADOS!

Lambert got hit hard, they say we were supose to get that storm but it passed just to the south and east of us.
I don't have any real love for tornados either.
