Waldo,

I'm fixing to start on my stabilizer tonight! I hope to catch up to you by this weekend. I've watch the videos and seen the pictures up to the stab. I must say that you make it look so easy! I just hope it goes as easy for me!

I have never scratch built before so this is a great opportunity!

Will you be showing how to apply covering as well! I would really like to learn how to do this as well!

Hey Waay Long time good to see you again

Crazy Eddie, Glad to hear it, thats great!! and it is easy, which is why I am able to do it yes from start to finish including wrapping and the maiden crash kidding lol I have great confidence in this plane design, that no matter what happens it will be very controlable.
Feel free to Post your pics on the build thread if you can so we can all see how everyone is making progress.

Wayne that's a great lead-in for a joke, but I'm at a loss as to a response!

Well got alittle accomplished on the 1.50 today. Still need to move the servo to the other side along with the ignition switch. Thought I had written the weight down on the manual when I fisrt built it with the evo .26gt, but guess not. As I recall it was around 10.5 lbs. with the tuned pipe.
weight is now 9.5 lbs with the Syssa SAP 180 30cc. Looks like the balance is gonna be at 5 3/4 ".

Plow I wish I knew. Wind was blowing all day again. 14-44mph. Wing was still in the back of my truck. Was a little tricky getting it out and to the shop for weight and balance check. Managed not to put any fingers thru it though lol. Haven't had any flyable weather here in quite awhile.

Only when it's completely unavoidable. Was up in Kennewick a few years ago to move my mom up there closer to my sister. Time before that I drove to Kalama to buy my truck. Other than that I don't get outta the much anymore. Can't have gas prices interfering with the hobby any more than I help it lol. Our club dropped AMA at the end of 2008. So I only fly at the club field any more on the SAFECO ins.

I got the worlds smallest smoke tank in the twist 60

2 oz

oh well largest in my situataion that could fit without a custom tank

made up a video system so when smoke is turned on video looks back

and when turned off looks forward

something like that

guys I know don't use form release anymore but paper instead or whatever

and don't have any to give me

so a mixture of diesel and something ( ethal or drycleaners stuff, etc)

NO ONE in town carries the proper just for made smoke oil around here

Time for some jungle juice for the smoke system and should hopefully prolong the smoke
