I have fuel comming out of the carb throat after system get pressurized...it leaks worst at low throttle, but you can still feel raw fuel in the propwash at high speed... after shutting down it drips alot from carb until I relieve the tank pressure...

any ideas?
You can either lower the tank height or run it a full throttle all the time!!

Don't those have a pressure regulator in the carb? Maybe it's plugged or freaking out for some reason? I'm not really a YS expert but that's what I'd look at if my OS 70 started doing that.

Sounds like youre getting a siphon effect, Plow hit it on the head. Is the carb at a lower level than the last engine?

Gawd that video is getting around a lot.

If the guy flying the slick wasn't such a damn tool it wouldn't be such a big deal. The whole situation was handled poorly. Hopefully they resolve the rc guy from the blame. I have my opinion on what happened but it's all speculation so ... oh well.

I thought the YS engines had a constant pressure tank though? Tank location could be 3 feet below the gear, at the tail of the plane and it should still feed pretty well.

Should also be able to put the tank up on top of Waldo's Twipe without it siphoning.

Am I wrong?

Same height in relation to the carb? Hmmmm. Try the blow test (that don't sound right ) where you close the HSN and the LSN all the way and try to blow through it with a piece of tubing. Maybe something is not letting it seat all the way down. Try it with the throttle both open and closed fully.

Eric could be onto something there too. Aren't most regulators adjustable?

That blew up FG for about a week. Some folks wanted to cruicify the RC pilot. I blame the airboss.

cleaned regulator, gonna turn down the pressure and try again tomorrow... this is an older motor no LSN, regulator adjusts LS mixture... none of my other YS's have this problem... you can mount the tank anywhere with in 4 feet, hi, low, doesn't matter with YS fuel systems...uses 5-6 lbs of pressure in the tank

I have a YS 110 that does pretty much the same thing after a flight. Pressure builds up in the tank and forces gas to drip out through the carb. I disconnect the the pressure line from the tank to relieve the pressure. I also have to disconnect this when filling though sometimes I forget. I don't feel as comfortable with this engine as with a Saito.
