Thanks! I had a 22B on there before the crash. The Xoar Sword 22x10 should be pretty close. I'm hoping for a little higher velocity through stuff like loops and cuban 8's. The 22B wasn't bad but the 23A isn't very good at all. It's a great 3D prop though. The thing hovers at half-stick even though I'm still on Pennzoil 32:1. LOL

thick grass is not easy to take off from with a heavy load and a small engine

flew the cub once and all went well, I can stay up longer than the glider guys with that plane, lol

but second take off it went up, down , did a touch and go and stalled.

trimming the ailerons to compensate left role was a bad idea
as well as useing lower nitro content

so was not useing nylon bolts to hold the wing on.

ripped the wing off the cub, but is fixable.

The twist 60's, prop. always comes loose because of kickback.

also my starter was not charged for a long time and died filling up the cubs tank for the second time.

too many signs things might go wrong, so abandoned the twist 60

ate two burgers and a hotdog

there must of been 50 people there at one time, watching and participateing in the bbq

at one time there was about 6 to 7 people flying at the same time

everyone was just waiting for a mid. air crash that didnot happen

too funny though

one guy was beating the out of his 11 cell helli , right in the middle of the field as guys flew bye.

one guy with a sundowner and a 180 crashed near where I did with the twist and came out without a scratch. cleaned her up and flew it again

there must of been at least 6 guys with "72" tx's turned on at the same time and some people were complaining about radio interference

I sheared the main gear off Barbie on a dead stick landing. I decided I did not want to walk out in the field to get it so I did a flat turn to put it on the field and needed just a little more airspeed.

I changed fuel and should have readjusted the engine. It is about a 45 min repair though.

I tried the Twister DF but it would not spool up to full power. I will have to put a new motor in it I guess. I thought I had done a full power check but I guess not.

Electrostik flew great with a different ESC on it. I want to add some aileron and elevator throw to it. It is pulling 50 A peak on a 3S battery. I may go ahead and put a 60A esc in it.

Anyone know if the old TT40 wing will fit a new airframe?

Thanks. I was wondering if one purchased a new tt40 V2 and had an old tt40 V1 wing if one would have a spare wing?

Dave - I have seen some guys over prime the engine. This can get it to hydro lock. If you hit it with a starter, you can wind up loosening the prop.

My Saito 82 got a bit too much fuel and I had to hand turn the prop a bit to clear the excess fuel before I could start it. It wanted to run backwards hand flipping it too.

Ya some guy was trying to help me hand start it and a warned him about the kick back

he was like holding the prop. and turning it with the glow plug igniter on

I think i had hydro lock again, same as last time out

three turns and less primeing
