Boy it's been slow here today boys where's everyone at.
Nate that's some nice flying, for sure.
I still think that Xoar 20/6 prop will give you more thrust per mph and crazy punch out power out of a hover.
I did alittle more flying today myself.
Guys does a walk of shame count it you run your battery down on a leccy.
I had my buddy curtis turn down my prop shaft on my omega 72 and put a prop adaptor on it.
It worked great on the 1st flight, but on my 2nd I flew longer than I had battery and the rough landing broke the already weaken shaft.
I worked really hard on my KE flight and made a few attempts at the KE spin.
I uploaded the video an hour ago but you tube wanted to repair the video. So I'm still waiting.

Kerwin never have Youtube fix your vids well not that they do a bad job but its never what I wanted when I had it done.. so "as is" is usually the best.

I was not flying yesterday , but worked on the club lawn mower and mowed the field. Does that count? Wind was blowing 20+ and looks to be that way until Sunday, then rain for two days.

I have to go put in some light fixtures and kitchen sink for my brother-in-law now.

Anyone have any thoughts about this model, or the manufacturer? Looking to go glow with it.

Looks like a cheap chinese knockoff kit...probably none of the hardware will be useful, things won't fit right, etc. Also this is only a 40" wingspan...that's pretty small...do you have a .30 size glow engine to use in it?

I had the same thoughts myself. I've got a 25 and a 40, so I'd be on bothsides of the requirements, but then again, it's the same situation with the tribute.

It's hard for me to accept when you can get a 3dhs 48" edge for not much more. No glow option though... The 3dhs bird is truly 3d capable... I flew mine for hundreds of flights. I don't think I would be happy flying that one and it is going to be a dog on glow. If you want top performance you will never get it out of glow in that size IMO. If you are interested in planes that size it may be time to branch out into the electric arena

Another GREAT option for a fantastic flying airplane around that size is the 40" EPP edge.

I can only recommend the "Good Stuff" to my friends

Never heard of that manufactuer berfore so I can't give you an honset opinion.

Yes lawn mower repair and cutting lawn for the club counts as In the hobby

Kerwin I forgot to say,,, you know the laws of the Walk of Shame if it isn't within 5 feet of your starting point you have walked shamely even if your wings flew off in flight, your engine stalls, and your rudder bends, your wheels drop off, you lose contact, your stab snaps in half and you still manage to get it back to the runway, if it doesn't stop within that 5 feet your shamed!!! it might be a happy shame but shame none the less because if any of that happens then your preflight check has failed thus its still your fault. LOL

And I thank you for that.

Hmmmm.........electric........that's a whole new world for me. Only experience I've had is my super cub, and that's not going so good right now. 4 yr old battery vs 4.5 year old motor. The nitro motor wins out as it's still running. The battery, well I may be using it for target practice. If I go that route, I hour you guys don't mind going back through the battery info again as I know I'll have a ton of questions.
