you didn't read the annotations for the pictures...he already mentioned that his drawing was not accurate in that respect.
I was thinking the same thing until I looked closely at the pictures.

The idea I had at the time was to make some kind of disc with a small dimple in the center just big enough to keep them from sliding off of the pole. I know it wont be a good tool for larger, heavier models because of what you point out, but I figure it should work for now with what I have. Ill try to get started on it this weekend.

I had fun helping Brigg put a dle 55 on his aeroworks yak today. I also drilled the 20x8 protek prop and got it on the dle 35. Prior to that I ran the 35 for another 15 min for a total of around 1:15 on the motor now.

I picked the plane up while it was running to see how susceptible it was to attitude changes at idle. I could get it to really load up when it was on its side... especially if it was pointed down hill. I spent some time tuning and got rid of that issue. I also set an idle up switch to be certain it isn't idling that low except when its time to land. Looking forward to some fun soon still loving the motor and can't wait to see how it handles a bit more prop

Happy anniversary snowdog and a nice engine.
Great to hear your flying wayne
DOG I think if they catch that guy he should bee hung by his gonads.
Well I had to go out to the property and work alittle. It didn;'t take me long to wear down. I decided to fly the little MX but did really poorly flying. My hands were having a hard time working. I did get a chance to use my new video sunglasses, but I had my property caretaker wear the video glasses. On my 2nd flight I busted the fuse but that could not detour me the flight must go on. anyways heres the videos

Nice!!!! That thing is gonna be nose heavy with that motor (but it will be a powerhouse!!) so I would start planning an alternate battery location, hehe

Kerwin! Dude you're having way too much fun down there! I've got to remember to do what you do and have others go on the WOS instead of me.....especially when there's a camera around....pure genius! For a second there I thought you were Waldo, with all that long hair going on, until you turned around and flashed us with that puss of yourn!

A gallon of Kaopectate later and it should be safe to spend the day in the Player's set-shop where I'll be continuing to build the car/prop. (No toilet facilities there until the weather warms up!) Nothing like too much information, right? You got to remember fellas..... that my life is boring....and unless I keep posting such non-sequiturial banter I might really get depressed or some schwitt like that!
