You'd sure burn a lot of gas going back and forth but I can see how it would be ideal. Gonna be a snow-bird? I bet snowman gets bird-sized mosquitos in the spring too!

I heard mosquitoes in the great white north hibernate during the winter and come out pregnant with pregnant off-spring. They have a blood lust!

You want to talk mosquitos, come to rice country in July. At dusk and dawn, you can swing your arm one time and hit 50. You avoid low light conditions whenever possible.

We used to get a lot of mosquitos here but they have really gone crazy trying to eradicate them in recent years and it has been pretty effective. People here were contracting some illness that I can't think of that is pretty nasty and spread by mosquitos. I don't think I got more than one or two mosquito bites last summer and I didn't use a bit of deet.

The mosquitoes are so large up here that their proboscis are arms length and an inch in diameter! Kerwin, I don't know what kind of natural repellent you folks have, but I sure didn't see any attack you while you were here, but you were looking a little pekid by the time you left.........methinks you were attacked while you slept and they drained you good!

I have a few pics for y'all today.........the first is the frame mock-up for the '57 Chevy-esk vehicle for the musical Grease........I've got to have it done in a week!!!!!! Short notice! The others are of the main drag in Calumet........they're so weird up here that when the snow melts off the streets......they haul more to cover 'em up again!!!! (Actually it's in preparation for the Copper Dog 150.......the start of a sled dog race.......Calumet will be packed tonight.........license plates from as far as Alaska!!)
