My motor is a Turnigy G46, 670Kv. I measured 850W in flight on a 4S pack. My motor was $52.70. An OS .40 is $112. |

![]() I ordered the Milled feather Light Osiris, there is over 20 feet of fine carbon in the kit. I didnt know that Fancy foam had the blenderm and other things sooo fair priced. Got a S3114 there also. I also ordered the Diamond D47 Servos from the MFG, 19.99 for 4.7gram high torque. I have the new Hcker A10-15S already. I am very excited to fly something like this. Like I said, flying Arron's sort of woke me up to why nothing I have flys like the ones used at ETOC. Not that I have those skills, just the slow and float on rail behavior. I ordered some NGK BRM6A plugs for the US Engine, the bird dog continues. |

Just finished up the repairs on the 70 slick. She has a bit more epoxy and some fiberglass cloth added in a few places. The rocks reaked havoc on the bottom of the fuse in a few places so some balsa needed patching up. I also took out the smoke pump. I think we are going to end up putting it in my friend Brigg's 50cc plane. We are hoping it will end up working out a lot better there.
I went with steel bolts this time for better or worse. I also went with larger wheels but I hate them fyi. The LHS didn't have any decent ones and these ones feel pretty flimsy and the foam tires squish down way too easy. I went with a 19x8 xoar this time... it was in stock. I'll miss the protek 20x8 that was a match made in heaven but the 19x8 was also pretty nice when I was using it before. Looking for some flights soon... possibly Monday. |

The D47 is the Competion Servo that is being used for ETOC by many of the pilots, I am not to worried about those. However, they dont use the bigger dymond for the Aileron and use a Futaba so it sounds like there may be problems with their other servos.

[QUOTE=kerwin50;23298822]So that 4.7 gram servo blows all the other 5 gram servos away then.
I learn somthing new everyday. QUOTE] Its hard to spend 19 dollars on a 4.7 gram servo... but Arron reminds me that all the top people competing in ETOC and indoor comps are using them. It is difficult to argue with the voices in his head at that point. Having flown the plane it makes sense too. |
