I am amazed how fast a funjet is compared to any large plane I flown
For a small plane the funjet goes really fast and flys for long time
Transport is great as well due to,it's size

My newer larger 60 inch wing has tendency to,dive at past 100 km per hour or so

Third time to make up thrust even greater and also will, put cg further forward, which sucks IMHO, I like cg far far far back, and hate the idea to have to move it forward just to make a plane fly properly

That tow plane must of had some serious power to,haul around a glider like in your video

The drag must of been incredible

Maybe this weekend I will fly and make a movie
You can adjust the thrust on your Funjet Ultra. There is a screw at the bottom of the motor mount. This can adjust the thrust up or down as needed. You can change the right or left by adding a washer behind the mount on either side. I built three FJU planes, none of them needed left or right and I set the up/down by the manual initially. I can put my FJU in a dive at WOT and don't have any problem flying it. You may want to look at the vertical fins and make sure they are glued well and are not moving. Also, make sure the elevons don't have any slack. I have had mine over 120mph with the stock setup without issues.

I have been flying the Kadet Senior (tow plane) with a Saito .81 and a 15x4W prop. I am thinking of putting a Saito 1.00 on it. I have room for a bigger prop. I don't look for speed, just thrust.

Hey Waldo - I am thinking of going to an FA-100 on the Kadet for the rebuild. Maybe I can get enough power on the plane and just pull the wings off that glider.

I picked up a Saito 1.80 today but I am guessing that would be too much.

You know.... I always wanted one and I have been watching for one with fair mileage and NONE had this sort of price. When he told me the price, I never even drove it. The sales man however has got to be kicking himself, I would have spent more than that for it..... I am waiting for something to happen, other then is does need brake pads front, going to do them in the morning.

This story continues even more........

Took it on the first highway drive to one of our plants near Piper in Lock Haven to pick up 10 cases of water for the FLI event. I noticed while driving the Oil change sticker. D&G Automotive.... It was across the street from out plant. I stopped in and talked to the guy, seems an older couple used it just for pulling their pontoon boat mostly.

Nice van DOG! One day I hope to even just have my beater van for just hauling around planes lol. Right now I have to pull the seats out to fit planes in but I haven't found a good solution for hauling my 70" slick in the saturn ion. I think it would fit without landing gear but for some reason I'm too lazy t be taking the gear off and putting it back on.

You are not alone!. That is why the HHR works, fold the seats down and go.... For Ohio we took

Arron's 104 Slick Roo
NIB 70" Velox
3 chairs
10X10 Canopy
Cooler
Suitcase
and other misc items.

Big Blue and 13 mpg will prolly be a moblie hanger and a training tank for my 16 year old daughter....
