Nate I'm so sorry. You sure seem to be having problems with that PTE or your set-up.
You need 3 times to exit as the entrance of your air intake on your cowl. Till you get the bugs worked out of any new planes you need to do your acros 3 mistakes high. and tune to the rich side in this heat.

Luck there Waldo!

I needa go build somethin.
I tore a 46FX down this evening. Going to clean it and put it back together with new bearings. AC in my office went out. Installed a new one today. Helped a guy with an Electrostik build. Mailed the Telemaster plans. Sorted the rest of the RC estate. Not a lot left now.

SnowDog.........That's a NICE looking setup you have there, although it appears to be missing something. How soon till it's ready to fly?

Oh, it's a gorgeous day......after a restful nights sleep.....to awaken to 70 degree air that you can actually breathe in without breaking into a sweat!

As a point of interest......we have an INTERNATIONAL event happening right across the street today and tomorrow ....The 2012 International Guts Frisbee Tournament! Teams come from as far away as Japan to our little hellhole, here. There's even one of those quarter million dollar Blue Bird motor campers parked across the street......it's value equal to our whole area's gross local product....lol

Their hobby is cheaper then ours, and apparently the event is bigger then most RC..... We are in the wrong frame of mind?

Your personality is unique......I've defined it by example. So what would you choose given your unique point of view?

Snowman, I wish you would consider the Sabre 47, it is kinda like the Twist used to be in terms of smiles per dollar. It flys really well on an inexpensive, reluable OS 55 AX two stroke, and it only costs $119 for the ARF. I've been having fun (maybe a little too much fun!) with mine.
It's not unique by any stretch, but it sure is good, easy fun!
Cheap thrills!!
