Nate your going to have to save me a piece.

O BTW snowman I forgot to mention on those pros an cons of tower verus troy built.
Troy built doesn't warranty thier ing boxes where tower does and thats the weakest link of these engines.

More done on the green machine. I got 1 screw in the rudder servo and a tank install.
That'll wait till morning. Then it's time to assemble her.
Good luck tomorrow Waldo

Mike an Ron, you guys may have to fly my airplanes for me if I get too tired or weak.
Well... outside of foamies, I am not much for OPM, you may want to consult with Mike.

Well it's kinda like I told K49 when it comes to OPM. It's either he flys it or I crash it.
Normally it only takes 2 or 3 minutes to rest my hands an arms to get them back to where I have full control and my thumbs arn't vibrating so bad. K49 usually just flys them in a circle till I feel well enough to have a go at it.
But I'll try and get plenty of rest.

BTW Nate on your PTE locktite that choke butterfly screw. I've read of a few reports of them coming loose.

Next PM said "that'll work!"

Flight Report

Face Sun Burn... Check
Wild Tiger Profile....
Dropper from 11X4 to a 10X4, getting some more RRRs. Tried a few other sizes, just need to get a wood Xoar 10X4, the APC is heavy. Very little wind, 6 flights. Notticed a vibration at full trottle..... Turned out one Muffler bolt went missing.

China Extra
Took out AR7000, out in AR9000 since I had never used it. Swaped out the HS 433 servos for Power HD 9001MG. I also put in a T between the tank anc carb for fuel dot. So it was like a maiden again, motor was running good be gurggled in the mid, seems the Magnum 91 needle needs a new O ring and some tweeking but it flew good.

Had a visitor stop by picking up a puppy, they were from Upstate NY. Nice folks. We heard them announce on the radio that with were a float plane 5 miles out.... We all had to stop and see what this was like.

Whoohoo finally got some flying in today. I think I'm in love with this 3DHS VR 1. The last time I flew it was on 3s and only 225 watts. But now, oh yeah, 4s and 600 watts. My son got to fly his newly covered T40 and he has found his new favorite plane. He don't want to continue repairing his UCDO 40 any more. I'll get some pics up when I get to the computer.

You can get them new for a couple dollars more. How is the shop coming along? You should try to do an inventory sometime!! What a job that would be!!

No flying for me...took the girls to see Battleship. We all liked it very much and recommend it too!!

Sounds like some excellent flying was had by all!

Repaired the 260 and flew five batteries worth, nice breeze too...had a guy stop by and express interest in learning to fly. It would be a lot nicer than standing out in a field by yourself...hope he calls.

What's with this weather! 88 degrees today........and its MAY!!!! I'm friggin' melting.

Spent a little time in the shop building a fuel/battery/charging caddy.
