I fly my twist sometimes with rudder mixed in with ailerons, and some expo

I actually take off with that mix but flip switch so no rudder is mixed in.

No expo is for getting out of a close cal when close to the ground

My top top end throttle servo sometimes has throttle curve

I like some expo for rudder in case my throttle thumb gets the jitters

Low end throttle is also silly curved for nice low rpm control

a bit of welder glue and it is ALL GOOD. You, that would have been a balsa mess with the other plane.

Oh wait...did I mention that a flying buddy cut the balsa for a .40 size profile and just gave it to me with the plans? He wants us to do some 3D stuff at our club with identical planes...he's a profile nut...and he got me hooked...I've got a Saito .72 still sitting on the test bench, and I've got the servos, and a radio, all just sitting around doing nothing, and even some left over covering from a previous airframe...so all I've had to buy to put together this profile is a 48" fiberglass tube which cost about $8.

I wish I could buy time to build and fly all these great airframes...oh yeah, and buy good weather for Saturday mornings...lately, Saturday mornings have been rubbish in terms of flying weather. Your area got pounded last Saturday, didn't it?
oh well, at least I've always got something to do in my spare time.
Hehehe...it never ends doesn't it?. I am actually buying a repaired OMP Fusion profile from my friend with a DLE 20 on it when it ever gets finished. Gonna o to a probro event in Iowa with him in July

Last saturday believe it or not we had a 20 mimute shower and we flew the rest of the day.....we had a cub scout outing at the field so it worked out. We have been lucky

I went my first fun fly Saturday. but got rained out. Set around talking to the other club for a while and it quit raining, so we flue for the rest of the afternoon. It was ever windy and one guy had really a bad day, crashed 3 airplanes and one helicopter. That was one expensive day for him. I have got to fly every day this week. I hope my buddy that his wife passed away gets back to flying, no fun to fly alone, but I do understand,

Tower drop by and visit him. Nothing is worse than the death of a mate.
Tower are you coming to the FLI in cape girardeau the 31 thru 3rd.
I'm putting together my supplies now, I've got a tent, canopy and cook stove.
Now I just need to get back on that Green Machine.
They're calling for rain sunday, so it looks like I won't be having a twisted sunday anytime so.
Well I'v got to go to work again this morning. I'll tell you I'm wearing down fast.
