I was helping Arron out transferring it to another air frame so I got a good look at it. I am very impressed with the way it is set up, love the throttle choke set up, its a very clean design. I really love the sound it has. Little details on this motor make it seem worth the money to me.

O yeah snowman that OS is worth it. More than worth it. I love that OS.
Now I don't go to bars or gamble, well except when I fly and thats a gamble. But the hours of fun sure would justify the cost.
Of course I've spent way too much money on airplanes so I don't think it's safe to ask momma for one anytime soon.

I flew my Lil MX tonight some more. She is the Ideal park/front yard flyer.
I can fly her right out side the apartment now, which is a plus for momma
I havn't put the side force generators on her yet. But I am quite pleased.
DOG you need to come to the FLI convention and fly her.
I havn't been able to hover her yet. She pulls hard to the canopy in a hover.

That means she has 1 of 2 problems.
1) She is nose heavy and you have the elevator trimmed in normal flight with some up in it.
2) There is some up thrust in the motor.

Either are easy to sort out.

I doubt if she has up thrust in her, more than likey she is nose heavy like you said.
Where did you have your batt set at. Mine is right on the nose. I balanced her with my fingers on the spar and she felt tail heavy. But I'll bet I'm wrong.

Mine was not all the way forward but close. However, just little differences in servos and motor can change things when you are talking about a 6 ounce foamie, so it would be hard to compare.

I am trying to sort out an affordable solution to run out that weekend.

I sure hope you can figure somthing out. You can show me how to hover the little MX
Maybe even the Green Machine, though I'm still waiting on servos.

Yeah... he has got skills, no question. He also designs all the graphics on the 3DHS planes and such, very handy at that too.

DOG that IS some impressive flying and the engine sounds good for not being broke in! OS claims that both their 33 and 55 have over 25% more power than their competitors....that alone has got to be worth the extra $$$.

Do you have many club members that can fly like that?

We have some good pilots, but Arron stands well above the bulk. We are all taking notes and learning from him.

Jackleg Waldo, Sig wonder?
Nice guess Jackleg you are correct it was a nice gift from the Snowman from Jack211's collection.

Snowman you bought an Aeroworks airplane.....how did you like it?
Well Yes I bought the aeroworks edge I have only flown it once so far but I loved it with my 91fx combo, its a tad nose heavy because I balanced it with preperatrion for a pilot I have not found yet to go in its spot.
I thought the construction was above par for an ARF but I still went over some areas I know our field likes to beet up a bit.
So glad to see how much your back in the game here, nice plane and loved the vid LOL and bonus on the T40 and 61FX new in the box Can't wait to see the sturdy Bird going too. Your like a kid who OWNS the candy shop now lol

Flight report
T_ _ _ T40 down lol
well Jack211's T40 was flying beautiful this weekend we had a light breeze not even enough really to speak of but anyway I was just coming in for a landing and seconds before touch down the wings started rocking violently she grabbed a tip on the ground and then cartwheeled just broke at the middle of the fuse where apparently a fire in the fuse had weakened some wood so I'll have that back together in no time just the aielron had a broken part right by the fuse which I'm thinking caused it all as it was so unexpected as I just did about 6 - 10 beautiful touch and gos with no incidents or motion like that at all. but I did something I'm sure, damn thumb lol

Ultra stick Thank you evolution for another dead stick about 8 feet off the deck Just passed the runway and she quit so I climbed quickly in hopes of returning to the runway but just didn't have the height so I glided her in to the corn stalk vally and just ripped off the landing gear easy fix.

All in all a great day of flying for about 4 hours then it all fell apart lol
Spent the rest of the weekend working at the house wiring nightmare

hope all your mama's had a Great Mothers day glad to be caught up again.

Oh Yeah I don't like to brag about it as I hope the price won't go up because of it but OS is the only way to go for years of trouble free operation right out of the box. I have bought and tried the others and there is always some dumb issue and they don't hold a candle to longevity as far as I'm concerned
But again Its the Chevy / Ford battle I'm sure lol
