I think we addressed that once?

For 2 stroke, 1.5 the model size and for four stroke, double it.

That is why we put 60s/82s on tt40s and 90s/125s on tt60s.

With the altitude issue I have here in MT, here's my formula: .40 sized gets .60 size engines, .60 sizes get .90 size engines. My new to me (bought in October) Excursion with the 6.0L Powerstroke gets 16-17mpg hwy and 12-13mpg in town.

We are at 860ft ASL and that formula works for me.

My 6.0L C6, 400hp, Vette, that I don't put planes in, gets 26 in town and 30 hwy.

OK, I am thinking of building a 4' x 6' blue core foam plane. Any opinions on a tractor configuration motor for "Active Sport" flying?

I am looking at a 700kv, 1600W unit.

PT 19 wing is covered and decaled.

It's looking pretty good. There is a small coverite factory flaw in the covering, but nothing that I can't fix. Just need to install the ailerons and servos and she'll be ready!!

David, you need to go gas. You can get all that flight time with a lot less fuel on board. More weight for other gear. The is a 9cc coming out that might be good for you. I am running a 16cc and it is good.
