Hey guys, Nate I have a 12 oz tank in my MX with a DLE 30 and I get well over 30 minutes of flight time.

Well after I prostitutied my self to that thing called work this morning, I'm going to get ready and go fly.
My buddy Curtis has got the club trainer all ready and now it's time to test it.
While it's over cast it's in the 50's and calm

Don't you need a big ruler in there for scale?

Hehe. It's a little easier than that. I'll just import those pics into my file and model around them. Not all pieces will be modeled, just where I break it apart.

A moment of silence for my 48 edge.

I tried to play too hard in the wind today and ended up with a spectacular walk of shame. I have half an elevator, a wing tube, one wing, an aileron, a rudder, and the power system left... the rest is toothpicks.

I guess I better order another one cuz that was just way too much fun

Sorry to hear that Nate. Now you know what not to do with the next one. I've been going nuts waiting for decent weather to fly. And now, today was beautiful and light wind and I'm laid up after carpal tunnel surgery. I just can't win.

Bummer hearing about your crash Brath!
We flew a little this afternoon, sounds like the weather is going to change to rain and wind. Darn I was just getting use to this global warming thing.

Yes I know what it's like being Edge less Nate and it's not pretty.
I have pre ordered another 3dhs Edge 41 incher. I couldn't see putting that other one back together.

Well I got to fly tonight but didn't get out to the field tillclose to 4 pm. I was really nice but really overcast. And the wind was 10 mph out of the south east.
Now the MX didn't make it out as I tried to put and old 18/6 dyna flight prop on her.
Once I got it on my single bolt adaptor and went to tighten it the prop would just spin. I had plenty of thread left but the back of the prop hub is smooth allowing the prop to just spin.
I couldn't hold the prop hub and tighten the prop nut. So she was grounded.
Instead I flew the club trainer that Curtis and I have been working on. It's a kadet LT 40
Wouyldn't you know it, the home made plywood motor mount broke on the 1st flight. I had just landed and made too tight of a turn and she nosed over.
Curtis put his Balsa usa stick in. I flew it earlier and it felt like it was running out of elev. So when he came in on an approach in a steep bank it looked like he ran out of elev also.
Lt Dan came down with his YAK and his stryker. He was doing some nice flat spins.
The Yak is a gold wing 68 incher, with an OS 120 on it.
It was a good night to get out as we got rain and of course superbowl weekend coming up.
