Mine had a old fs61 2-stroke on it, great motor. Then I hung a 91FS on it with a waaaay oversized prop. We absolutely LOVED it. Three blade Graupner, heavy, something like a 15x6 (dont remember) Idled at 1200 and WOT at 5400. Plane went straight up and had a 10 foot rollout. Dustin could get it airborne with two clicks of throttle (bout a 200' rollout) fly it down the runway on one wheel at walking speed etc etc.

Normally a 70 would be nice.... but for you....no.

You have to go with a 90+ class 4s on it for you to be happy.

The Saito 82 on my Kadet is really good. A 90 ish would be perfect.

My roll rate is not great but I guess it is hard to roll that 80" wing.

I've got a Magnum .91fs waiting for a plane...I was thinking a .60 size warbird, but now I'm kicking around the idea of getting one of these fun payload carrying birds for it....

The first few flights my buddy Ron put on his we used a 13x8 because that was all we had at the time. We could not get it to land. Just floated forever at idle. We finally put a 14x4 on it to slow it way down.

I may have to get busy and get this telemaster I have up and going. It belongs to a guy that has MD and I was working with him. He hasn't flown is a few years. I think he got a little discouraged. I did drop by his store and let him fly my heli.

Of course I've got so many projects. I don't see how I was ever able to have a full time job in the past.

I did get my MX's engine locktited. Now for a prop.

Any chance you can drop some jello? Even better... maybe some glow fuel
Brathanke Thats just some Funny Shirt right there ROTFLOL

K49 that plane looks sweet and you just have to get vintage footage of any droppings while attacking and for some other fun mini marshmallows do allot of bouncing off heads and planes whicjh is also good for a laugh

Billd that Coverite is some serious stuff for sure, when I wrapped the triplane with it it had 3 wings of scallops on the trailing edges I thought for sure it was going to be a nightmare to make them all look smooth but man that stuff just blended beautifully, wrinkle free no creases and 0 seams I was hooked, Dope and silk is a very cool way to cover as it really makes the plane super strong, it of course adds a bit more weight for sure but once your done its like a cement shield over the entire aircraft it just glues the whole thing together.

DOG so far we are planning on going to the WRAM show on Saturday as you said if all is right with the world and the stars all allign perfectly lol we've made it 3 years in a row now so things are looking good so far.

DAD By looking at your hanger I don't see why you couldn't fit another 3 planes in there the big problem I would think would be finding them again LOL

A guy at my club put a little 2 stroke on a foam plane and it seems to not hurt the foam. Its really funny watching him fly as it has so so so much power to plane ratio. vertical is an understatement

I have seen some weird stuff done to store a motor and keep it fresh, but your dedication to the hobby is remarkable. Hope everything comes out ok.
