I meant to ask the seller about that last night, but forgot. It was so late that I just wanted to get the planes in the car and get out of there. I was planning on asking him today about it; I'll let you know.

I got there right on time (according to my calculations) but an hour late per the seller's expectations! It was all good and the seller got a kick out of that too. It was a long drive home from South Bend to Crystal Lake, but I picked up an hour on the way back, so it was all good, right? It started snowing as I pulled into my driveway; I'm grateful the snow waited until I got home. I put 300 miles on the car last night, there and back.

I had a blast meeting Tom and seeing his very fine workshop and most of all the really nice EF and 3DHS planes that he and his son own. Flying Tom's planes was fun; it must be really nice to have an open lot next to your house so you can step out the front door and fly at will! Thanks again for the hospitality Tom! I took two short videos as well, they should be posted as attachements. [I had trouble uploading the videos...only one turned out, I will post it to youtube later and update the link here.]

Thanks again for stopping and for the record...I completely forgot about that stupid time zone change, lolol The planes you picked up look great and I am glad you had a safe trip...that was definitely a LONG day for ya Let me know if that gear works on your Sukhoi too

I'm not sure I fully understand what Capacity means but it has something to do with the dynamic between people who fly 3d and people who don't like 3d flying and want to kick 3d flyers off their fields. They call the circle flyers @capacity. Lots of little words came out of that. Circle flyers being used as a derogatory word. Capacity flyers, FOG's etc.

Check out the beginning of this video... "Circle Flyers Strongly Cautioned." Plus the flying isn't all that bad either

Thanks again for the "rest stop" on my long day.
Next time maybe I can stop or visit longer and join you in one of the Corona's!
I truly appreciate the CF gear for the Su-26 - I compared it to the aluminum gear last night and I think it will work out just fine and it will shave some weight off the plane and allow me to have more confidence (and less flex) in the gear for future landings.

Team capacity. Lol. At huckfest two years ago a man was explaining to Joe that the reason people complain about 3d flying is because they are at capacity and cant learn anymore. It was a hilarious conversation so we came up with "team capacity". Basically an inside joke. Circle flyers should not be told the joke. ;-)


Did I mention that one of these 51 Slicks was previously owned by Joe Smith? I may choose that one and let Gino fly the other one...that way my Slick will be pre-endowed with awesomeness and will fly much gooder.
