I have my timing set to high. When it was set to low it wouldn't even run. At an Idle it makes a whinning almost a squeal sound, kinda like a bad bearing but yet with out power it rotates very free.
The only time It happens is when I throttle up hard and fast. As long as I slowly advance the throttle there isn't a problem.

Tom great video. Who shot it? It sure looks like you have a nice place to fly it right out side your house. You done some great flying. Your boy better watch out you'll be stealing his huck crown. LOL
Test with a light wood prop, I am really curious if it does the same as mine did.

LOL, thanks Kerwin, my boy has nothing to worry about, I can't hold a candle to him. Yeah, thankfully I have some empty lots next to me that have served as a flying ground for my smaller electrics, heheheh My kid was doing the video straight off of my iPad.....it takes ok vids but has no zoom. The cool thing is though, as soon as I take the vid, I can upload it right to youtube

Kerwin, as far as your edge goes....I would probably try another ESC. Seems like something is up with yours

Ain't got no robots, ain't automated. Maybe I should work on that.

I was going to use a bicycle lift but I did not trust it. Maybe I will use it on my bicycle.

I seen someone posted a bike life from Harbor Freight, they had to put a gallon jug with water on the tail end to balance the weight front to rear. It looked sturdy

I've watched that video 3 times now haha. I asked my wife if she knew what song it was and she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She was six when they did the music video for it in 1988. So I had to pull up the music vid on youtube which led to playing a whole bunch more GnR vids Brings back some fun memories and I can't believe how young they all were back then. I remember Slash playing in the last Superbowl and how old he looked.
