Floats for Twist

I need a floatplane and think my Twist 40 (Tweplica) would be a good option as I don't fly it much with all my other choices. Does anyone have any info on what would be a good float to purchase and build. Any photos of a Twist on floats?

Mike went with the Hacker A30/28 and a speed controller.

I went to the hobby shop yesterday but they didn't have the prop I really needed, APC 11.5/5. so I had them order a couple of them. I also wanted some micro control horns and rods, but they didn't have any so I guess I'm going to use OEM on the Edge.

I am going to try and maiden my battle harden TM 400 as I have gotten her all glued back together.

Good day

I don't know where this one came from but it isn't from Flying ThingZ.

I think a Halloween Wig should be put on it. It has a wood frame and thick plastic stapled to it. The body is 2" foam material. The broom handle is a balsa square tube. It has a Thunder Tiger 60 engine on it.

I think it could be redone with a PVC pipe fuse, electric power, and bigger control surfaces. I saw a couple on youtube using a hat as the wing. It looks a lot better than the others. This one does have landing gear. I don't think a hand launch would work.
Yeah I want to Scratch build one and put a 61FX on her for the screaming effect just having trouble finding a free set of plans that are in full scale
I like the PVC pipe idea for the broom I think thats perfect really.

Kerwin the Raider flyer was my cuz Yes we alwaus have a blast especially trying to dogfight or formation fly. And good luck with your maiden.

MS No the streamers kepty breaking cause the damp grass was making them wet so they would just break right off On drier days we have no problem at all.

U2 I would say the Carl Goldberg 40 sized Floats woulkd be perfect for it Maybe you should build a Twipe and put the floats on that for a thrill

The edge is looking good! Man, I would love to put a DLE 20 in my twist 60 and I think it could use the bulk because I had to put my Battery on top of the tank with the ASP in it. That being said, I am looking at it trying to figure out a good place for the ignition, lol Would the stock mounts work for the DLE? Might be a fun winter project!
