Howdy all
Yes been very busy lately
Glad to see this thread is still kicking strong great vids and great reading and learning as lots of electric talk has been going on I'm just soaking it all in but I may have forgot everything already its okay thopugh I know where the information is.

well on top of the distaster relief runs we just got a 1.6 million piece mailing to do which would be awesome if it didn't need to be out in the next 3 weeks so we are in high gear running at full steam for the next 3 weeks straight minimum of 16 hour days to meet the deadline.

We still fly every saturday though Just flew the rebuilt Ultra stick I rekitted a few weeks back, This was its 3rd Major rebuild and it looks like it LOL It flew awesome and the evolution engine ran the best its ever run I'll post some pics of the Smashed up plane and rebuild soon.
The Tweplica is back on the building board also
great to hear from you all I keep reading to stay caught up just haven't been posting much.

watched pot never boils... maybe you should build a paper chain for each hour you have left. By the time you get it built and caught up (tearing the chain links back off from where you started) maybe you can burn up 4 or 5 hours Just trying to think of how to keep yourself busy.

OH I have plenty to do...
getting a 22,000 lbs trailer ready after parked for 14 weeks takes some doing.

laundry, bath dogs, clean bird cage, wash RV and truck, check tires, propane, load all the wifes' yard crap, (already cleaned and put away the planes) all 13 of them.
So, yes I have a full day tomorrow getting ready...

My light was on solid when I found the slick in the corn so I would say that was not a power issue when it stopped taking orders. I didnt think about it until later, I remembered it was on solid and so did one of the guys with me did as well.

I started ranting about the blink when I was bench testing the hardware after wards, trying to sort out if I had a specific issue, which I cannot reproduce yet.

Good to hear from you!
Glad you got it now!

For some reason it's hard for people to understand the blink. I had to figure it out because of working at HobbyTown for so long. I also had to learn how to explain it to customers who thought their receivers were defective.

Glad everyone is glad to see me. LOL

I wish I had been able to fly more this summer. Oh well, maybe taking almost an entire summer off will give me more drive for next year.

That or it'll be warm and I'll fly this summer. Usually it's r/c car season but you never know...

Also, hi everybody!

-Eric

MT Flyer,

One of these days I have to pick your brain about a trip to Yellowstone. Me and the family are going to head out there next year and I would like to figure out a good place to stay (cabin or whatever - not in the park). Is the best place to fly into Bozeman?

I was out there when I was 13 but I have no doubt things have changed, lolol.

Oh and have fun on your trip!

Ladd has the Switch. He taught himself to fly on the simulator and using that plane. I consider him an exception.

It is a $280 RTF plane so not real cheap. It does come with both options for a high wing and low wing. Has good power but Ladd has been through three of the Super Tiger motors (bearings I think) and I have not found a replacement that fits.

There are some weak spots, especially the tail wheel.

It maybe ok if you can buddy box it. The radio equipment is Tactic. If it needs to be pretty rugged, then I am not sure.

Ron, before I mail this sensor, are you sure this is your correct mailing address?

The last guy I sent a package to had the address a little wrong.

Yes Jackson is a rip off. A place out of the park that would be reasonable would be here in Livingston, MT. Just 50 miles north of the park. Bozeman is a good place to fly into and it is just 25 miles to Livingston.
