MT I'm glad to see you and the misses are OK.

Sometimes I can't win for loosing. I've done some work for my brother 80 dollars worth and he agreed to buy the 99buckhuck (3DHS 41" Edge). Now I still have alittle more work for him so yesterday when he went to order the plane, he said he'd order the motor also. Well wouldn't you know it they're are only 3 places that carry this plane, one is shut down for a move, one has the plane but no motor and the other has the motor but no plane. If I ordered from 2 places my shipping would be over 40 dollars an I still have servo's, esc and batteries to buy.
I got an old high school friend that is a painter I'm going to try to recruit to paint my brothers deck on his rental property
Guys I can honestly say I get high with alittle help from my friends.

Glad to hear you are getting a 3DHS plane; I know you'll enjoy it immensely! I've got the 46" Vyper (V1) and the workmanship is amazing.
My next plane will be a 59" 3DHS Slick.
Ben and his new shop will be open soon - perhaps next week - if not, you can get a comparable motor from Value Hobby and they have flat rate shipping of $4 - ValueHobby has this motor:

which is also a cheaper option. I've got this ESC in my Vyper and it works great, even with a bigger motor (I've got the VH G15 motor).

guys I just putt the watt meter on my 51 slick and I'm pulling around 1100 watts and around 77 amps out of my poor 2200 30c packs. I'm afraid that is going to toast my packs pretty quick. I think I'm going to adjust my throttle end point so it maxes out at around 66 amps where it ought to be for continuous discharge.

Why not change the prop?

where is your week link.... MAX 66A batteries... what are your motor and ESC rated for... more than 66A I hope...

are you also saying that this is the cause of the other 2 LiPo packs puffing?
I had wanted to buy some of those packs untill the issue came up.
