Here's a picture of a LED with difuser(left) and without(right) the difuser. You'll notice it really spreads out the light and makes it HIGHLY visible from all angles!!

Hello!
Is there any possibility that you could sell just the LED's with difuser lenses? I would be very interested.

Thanx!

Hey, Etonic. Just to let you know I have those same difusers on a RAM light kit. (I wish I would have seen your light kit first. )

You might want to let your customers know that they should add a drop of CA to the back of the difuser once they install it. Although they seem to hold on well, without the CA they will eventually fall off in flight.

Other than that, they work great!

Michael,

I can sell it this way too:

(6) LED's (2 each) 8000 MCD
(6) Matching resitors (to match to 5v BEC power)
(1) Rx Connector
(1) Micro slide switch
(6) Diffuser Lenses

$16.50 Shipped in US!

You really can't beat that! These are $3-4 each at Radio Shack and aren't even half as bright!

---------------------------------------------------

ArcherAce,

Your absolutlely right about falling off. I forgot to mention that I use a small amount of clear tape around the base for extra security. This way you can reuse the diffuser!

-Thanks Everyone!

Naaaw, for ONLY a dollor, I'd much rather go for the strobe board as well.

But, as an advertisement, can you make a small comparison of qualities of your entire system, and the entire Curtec system? If they are the same or very similar, and what it cvan do fits my expectations, then I promise to be a future customer!

Thanx!
-Michael

Michael,

These LED's are basically the same superbrites Matt uses in his set. His set is basically plug and play and has landing lights, while this is a KIT. You do save by doing it yourself!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These last 25 kits are the last time I'm running this sale. I have bigger Non- hobby things coming up soon! Also I only have about 25 diffusers left.

Since this is the last sale run, I can include extra reds with every order and an extra 3 wire Rx connector! (you could do 2 planes!)

Thanks Everyone!!!

same qualities and features, though, right?
thanx!

DARN! I looked at curtec's website, and they are now $40 as a pose to your $18!! I thought Curtec's were $20 or $22, but man did they go up! And you are including the same amount of lights too!

Could I use the add-ons from www.curtek.com?

MAN, I know I want one, but...I know I'll need it later, just not now, and that is really holding me back...once in a lifetime deal... could you save one for me and sell it to me in 1/2 a year?

-Michael

Oh, and does it come with instructions or is that link to the thread all there is?

Here's an update....

I have MORE diffusers coming - 120 units Late next week.

It seems everyone wants these little things - tired of those blinding flybys I would guess....

I have about 20 sets in stock but the diffusers are all sold until next week's shipment.

If you want sets with diffusers, just let me know and I will reserve them without payment (until ready to ship)!

Thanks Everyone!

Hey Mark,

I sent you an e-mail but never heard back from you..

WHat would it run me to add some LED's to a package? I would like to have 4 led's in each wing.. Red/Green respectively and then 2 led's on the tail, also red/green.. Which would bring me to a total of 10 LED's for the wings and tail.

I would also want diffusers...

What would that run me?
