Jonathan,
That looks great. Can you make it possible to simply buy the case for those of us that have already purchased the V8FT? BTW, I really love my system, it has been very stable and easy to use.
Thanks,
Curtis

Hi Curtis,

Thanks for using our products

We will offer our distributors some new cases(free) for changing by yourself if need, it's very easy. You could get the new case from your local distributor.

Meantime, if you have any other question or suggestion please tell us or PM us

Most of aftermarket brands, do not use proper memory buffer capacitor inside the receiver, wich is in my eyes essential for security and stability.

At the RX input voltage 6v-4.8v, normally there is a diode, to protect for +/- invertion, then regulated down to chipset voltage 3v3, there are some small smd capacitors remove ac noise, but do not act as a proper buffer.

I apply (solder) a goldcap 5v .1Farad capicator behind 3v3 regulator. With this modification it act as very stable PSU for the 2.4ghz chipset and cpu, true buffer it stay locked even after short removal of input voltage. (Brownout voltage zero Volt, max 1sec)

Just placing capacitor at free servo channel is not a proper solution, as at a current drop due to heavy load to battery, broken servo etc, the capacitor at free channel will be also shortcutted.

Chase,
Thank you. Do you know when you might expect the local distributors to have them in stock? I would assume 1 or 2 weeks?
Hopefully I can have them throw one into the shipment when i buy some more receivers in the next few weeks.
Best Regards,
Curtis

Is there an equivalent version for the Hitec? I was going to use the DIY module but would prefer a complete plugin with the antenna in the correct position.

Thanks,
Scott.

If possible, I would love to see the above implemented as a modular dual box solution: a "normal" 8ch receiver, with a extension plug for a second box containing the additional 4 channels.
Somewhat like the new Futaba S-Bus concept.
