Is there a way to have more than one battery for the S107G and swap them in and out so you can fly several times within one hour?

From what I've read, the price/performance ratio of the S107G and S110G is great, but it sucks that you can only fly about once per hour (5 minutes flying, 5 minutes cooldown, 45 minutes charging...)

Exactly the reason why most of us have a few of these cheap helis.

Hehehe, true.

The thing is that instead of getting four S107G's at ~$80 I could get a 4-channel Nine Eagles Solo Pro with 3 extra batteries and some spare parts....

Swann Micro Lightning

I bought a Syma s107 at a mall retailer. The original price was $59.99!!! I gambled with the guy and got it for $40 buck, ehhh, okay deal. Within a week or so the remote stopped working. I ran into Costco with my parents and found a Swann Micro Lightning. It was $19.99! came with the helicopter, remote, USB charger, a screw driver (small for the screws on the body), and extra blades! same price for more. They have the same chip (s107 R5) and the old s103 canopy. It is silver with blue. Flies really good! I'll sometime get the s107 canopy and tail decorations that look cooler. If you need to replace a lot of parts, and have a coscto card go get one! The same as the syma, just cheaper with extra parts. I have a mCP X, and for $20 bucks It's a lot of fun!

Yes, but oddly enough you can get some of the SYMA helis from them cheaper than the sale price, if you buy from Amazon. You can get two S108Gs for $35.00 shipped free...

They had this on their front page. I was lucky. I procrastinated till today and ordered 3 S107 helis for Bday presents $66 shipped for 3 of them ($22 each). Normally they are about $30 each shipped from Hobbyparts

I got 4 of them coming for less than you paid for 3. These are the blue ones I post about last week. This was in my email today:

"The following items have been shipped to you by Amazon.com:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Qty Item Price Shipped Subtotal

--------------------------------------------------------------------

A-Xheli items (Sold by Egrandbuy Inc) :

4 Syma S107/S107G R/C Helico... $15.95 4 $63.80

Shipped via USPS"

The S108G is on Amazon at Xheli now for 17.50 and it's elibible for free shipping, like the 4 I have coming were, so get 2 for $35.00 delivered...

Just got my first Syma S107 and flew it for 3 minutes.... It was even funner than it looks on youtube! My cat thinks it's the most interested thing ever as well. Ive been periodically reading through this thread but it is so long and unorganized that it's kind of a pain, I wish we could have an actual section of the forum dedicated to this heli.

Welcome Tmart, You "are" posting on a thread ""dedicated" to this heli [S107]. It's not hard to come back here...just click "My RCGroups" at the top left of the page and it will list all the threads you posted on....Including this thread "Syma S107 Helicopter"...Pretty cool huH?

Mike.
