Oh ! That's pretty funny.

My dog is very interested in the helis but smart enough to stay a decent ways back from them. He'll jump up in the air a few feet away but won't try to grab them. I was goofing around with him last night flying closer and closer until he'd back up a little and then away from him until he moved forward and then back towards him... It keeps him and me both entertained for the duration of the battery. (and yes, I'm very easily entertained)

It wasn't me. I found a DX7 for less than most of the DX6i's. I'm hoping the price wasn't too good to be true. I guess I'll find out when it gets here.

Something must be alittle off with your firebird.
They are basically the same heli just with different markings. The firebird uses the original rev 3 board that seems to have alittle more pep than the rev 5 board syma is currently using.
It must just be that I'm sloppier using the firebird if it's the board making it more peppy like you said. I was thinking that it does turn more quickly than the S107 I have that has the newer board in it.

The good news is I had a heck of a crash last night (hit the ceiling, the wall and then the hardwood floor) and it seemed perfectly fine after I set it back up the right direction and flew it around some more. I was pretty surprised after having had my S107 have a wire come loose after a pretty light bounce crash.

Glad to hear she's over it, but maybe you should get her some of a safety vest, hard hat and some of those of light up cone things the airport workers have.

Does the S107 have a LVC?

If not, how long are you guys flying per charge?

I set my timer for either 3 or 4 minutes. I won't chance any longer than that to risk over discharging the tiny lipo.........that's why I have several other 3 channel IR Sub-Micro helis so I just grab another one and put the spent one on one of the chargers and keep flying.

BTW, if you need a digital countdown timer, they are less than $2 shipped from Hong Kong and it's an invaluable tool:

I find that when my alarm goes off at 4 minutes but by the time I'm landing I'll have been in the air for closer to 5 minutes anyways.

Hey guys
When charging via the USB cable, is there any indication when the charge is done?
