I tried ordering from Helizone but they charge $35 shipping. It is still cheaper for me at Estore.

i might get another one for my brother - less than 20 on ebay.
just recharging it now again. this flies really good!
2 things...
  1. Don't let your girlfriend find this forum, she will find how much it costs
  2. Lipo battery care, don't fly it till it dies, 5-10 mins "cooling off" rest period and then charge it.

this is a fantastic lil heli with good spares back up online and eBay, most people in here have about 5 of these, if you only charge by USB your remote batteries can last up to a month at about 3 flights a day.

i'm charging now again thru USB - does it always take this long to charge from USB?
i did that KB mod of taking the weights off the flybar. altho now i think it's kinda less stable at hover and gets blown around by draft easily? or is it just me? i took some pics too - will post in a bit.

Sigh, I need a proper camera, my iPhone 3gs will never take photos like that.
Best recorded flight time I've had is 6:45 seconds to completly dead, ECM with USB your looking at 35-45mins to recharge, say you only fly for 3 mins (I don't have this level of self control) your lipo battery is only 50% disscharged charging will only take about 20-25 mins, I'm no expert but from what I have read unlike daddys old NiCad batteries a lipo likes to be topped up rather than drained and filled.

The old motorolla HT820 Bluetooth headphones I'm wearing no are just starting to die after 2 years of dead to full charging, the heli takes about 1.5Amps from it's lipo so if it were dead to full charged it would nearly last a few months.

Yep it's deffinatly less stable in hover with less weight in the flybar, killbucket has one (of his many) S107 with solder wrapped around the end of the flybar to make it more stable in the hover, this extra flybar weight does make forward flight a little slower.

Got this red one today and tribute to 4th of july

1. ordered the 3v 240mah lipos flight time is too short for me , removed the tail boom and removed the flybar weights , now it is fast. i cannot compare this with blade msr but mcx yes !! , very stable after the mod . hoping for 15 mins flight time using the new battery..

don't have a professional camera to do shallow depth .. but here it what i can do for 4th july ..

For me the steady hover is one of the main attractions of the S107, and the thing that surprises most of my friends when they see it for the first time - I think they expect a barely controllable 'thing' buzzing round the room.

I've already lost one of my S107s and a Micro Twister to friends who took a shine to them

Start looking for some new motors now before you actually need them lol.

I dunno why, but there's some kind of 'blame Canada' thing going on with US shipping. Helizone shipping is 3-5 day FREE within US, even Alaska and Hawaii, a damsite farther.

Info referenced.
NOTE: the infamous 59 character feedback string could be a (now perilous) default.

You didn't say where you are located geographically: this is relevant.
