Update On Flying This Weekend, Cricket Field CLOSED!
The contest director for the soaring contest this weekend, Steve Siebenaler, has requested that ALL flying both electrics and sailplanes be done at the same location at the VOA Park. This makes a LOT of sense for frequency control for all flyers! The Park moved the flying site for this weekend to the ball fields on the East side of the Park (just East of where we fly in the winter.) So, for electric flying Saturday and Sunday mornings, May 17 and 18, DO NOT fly at the Cricket Field. Instead fly up until 9:30 am and after 6:30 pm on both days at the ball fields at the East end of the Park! I'll be at the East ballfields flying EARLY...hope to see you all then! PLEASE pass the word along to others who might be flying this weekend! Paul
