Hi,
Here's a new one from me. Took me ages. I call it the Echidna (mythological monster half woman - half snake). Really pleased with how it looks (at last). A distinctive turtledeck and submerged intakes are the two features that i've kept in common with the Chimera and the Siren (see previous pages) in order to give these three designs a kind of a "family look". Currently looking for a suitable wing planform. Tell me what you think.
Nikolas.

Finishing up a 3D Autocad 2012 model of my 450 size RC Helicopter. Everything is to scale with a few errors here and there.

The watch project is on hold due to the lack of support of the swiss watch parts supply
but when the lathe is finished ... ther will probably abe another attempt with another strategy!

The lathe is a double spindle type the small one is for watchmakers 8mm collets from 0.3mm up to appr 5mm and runns on a DIY outrunner with appr 60 to 70W (6000 to 8000 RPM) It is removable and so can be placed on the support plate to create a rotational cutting lathe or rose engine .... and the zaxis of my little mill is also able to be adapted to the support desk and so will create a 4 axis rotational router it is just a kind of kitchenaid!!

the big one is a 4 inch 3 chucks collet. so height over saddle is about 63mm

will run 2000rpm only ( the inertia criteria of the servo doesnt allow more!)

But a hobbyist would have to be rich or otherwise would have to be patient!

Try changing the line/curve directions, and reduce the radius of the aft upper curve to the tailcone sweep.
