Lancaster and Albatross DIII

Been asked to show a couple of models i've done. Lancaster was a project I started 4 years ago, but left alone after a couple months work to concentrate on other stuff.

The Albatross DIII is my return to modelling aircraft and will see this to the end until I pick up the Lancaster again.

Great forum and great cad work examples here. Here is my most recent autocad experiment. It is a 3d model of one of the TCopters that I build and fly. Just getting back into the CAD skills. Got a little carried away with the motor details just for the practice.

OK you all are putting me to shame! but I will post my pics anyway. Over the last 3 days I've been at work on this glider with no experience at aeromodeling and just two years of CAD at school (which I just finished). Still have to make my control surfaces. Here is a link to it's thread if you want to help me (or in the near future use the designs) : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1555640

Two proposals to escape the "having nothing to do " mode...

Each was about 4 hours of effort!

Really nice work everyone, it's good to see such wide variety of projects, looking forward to more.

Hansjoerg,
that's some quick work, I like it.

A 3d model of a wemotec microfan 50mm , just to check measures for a project i have in mind.

Actually, i don't know how to make the bended blades, but i don't care, the important thing for now is the external dimensions.

I have to thank Harpye forever, for having teached me how to use Rhino

Hello don't worry about the teaching thingy - was just fun to me! Try to use several chords with the correct orientation, connect them all using an open spline for the LE and the TE and afterwards use Mesh from network of curves to get the surface done!!!
