I think that's what I have in mine....but run it on 6s....

I do need to double check the motor number first.....I'll possibly check it out tomorrow evening for you. On 6s, mine's FAST....5s may be more "normal"....

I might go 6s. I have a bunch of 6s 3300-3600s. If you can, check what prop you have on there too. CG is no problem with this setup?

I'm running 6s 4000 to 5000 on a 16x10 or `6x12 depending on how fast I want to go....plenty of room to slide my pack back or forward for me.

I'll look into the motor tomorrow and see.

Finally went ahead and got an Osiris, always wanted one, 3DHS is having a sale to support the US pattern team, the kits are 320 and 20 of that goes to the team. I am just happy to help out! Now I gotta go thru this thread and see what AJ put in his personal plane for power/prop/batteries. That's what I'm going to do.

Make sure to set the H Stab at 0 incidence. no more than 0.5 degree difference between the wing and stab. Use a lot of expo on rudder if you plan on competing with it.

Did you adjust the incidence on your Osiris?

What is the recommended wing incidence relative to the horizontal stabilizer? My new Osiris has a -1degree. I'm sure it should not be negative. I think I remember from the AJ video it should be a +.6

There is 42-page thread about it at RCUniverse.

Pattern related thread are mostly at RCU not RCGroups.

Osiris 2m is the one that lacks info. No pictures of build quality. Flying in FAI/Masters hands will be almost always good.

I think flying is personality.
If it doesn't fit your flying style, it will never work unless you adjust yourself.

Vanquish from my point of view so far is not my type, so I sold it. Somebody does well with it is his personality.

Not sure if Osiris 2m is going to be one that I will like. If it flys like 62", I probably will not buy one for myself. After the last contest of the season, I will be working on some extra stuffs on my 62" as experiment to see if it improves.

If it doesn't have adjustability, I will not buy to fly competition.

What don't you like about the 62" Osiris?

It was the best flying ship I ever owned. It made me look too good.
