Lets talk about wood props, mainly Turniyg Electric or Xoar props....

These are really good props, you get all the goodness from them like

they look really cool and stuff but ( Oh noo! the word BUT) if you must use one these please read the following:

Pros
Nice look
More scale finish
more efficient and better thrust
less top end speed.

Cons
they chip fast (Specially Xoar props)
and if you nose over there are good chances that you will brake the motor cage.

as for me, I will only use on 60inch or less regular APC.

Lets talk about Corona Servos....

Why spend $35.00 dollars per unit where you could get 4 for Coronas Servos DS-939MG Digital for $41.00

http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...2&pid=D3925415

I have been using these servos for about a year... and I haven't had any issues with them...
very strong again Very strong...
HS 65mg has 31oz at 6 volts
DS-939MG 35Oz at 4 volts.
Warning, I use a CC BEC.
Also for 3d throws I use the Servo Arm Kit - 3D Long Arms for HS-65MG

I had it before on the Extreme Flight Edge 540 and was sold...my friend never had any issues.
I have it on my Extreme Flight Extra 300 EXP Rudder, Ailerons and on the Elevetor and I have the Hs-85mg.

any questions pls let me know.

I did a crazy Servo TEST. I when up to 200 feet and dived the plane full Throttle and pushed the sticks apposite to each other and then I heard this loud ban. I was like oh shi#$%... and saw piece hanging out from my plane. When I heard the loud ban, I saw that the left aileron was hanging on the wind... I had no choice but to due a harrier the landing.. Nothing happened to the landing gear. It was a quit fix and was back flying my EF Extra EXP. What can you learn from this experience? The corona servo didn't strip at a High G dive while throwing the stick apposite to each other.

A week later, I when out to fly the plane again and felt that the plane was not flying like before. I landed the plane and it nose over; the problem was that the X-mount on the motor was damage. I was able to get another motor mount and the plane is flying as good as new.

BTW Coronas are not the only servos that I will be reviewing. I've been told from another RCGRoups user that Savox Servos are another great choice.

The Banana Hobbies Lipos are really good for planes but stay away if you are a Heli Flyer. These batteries just don't perfom to constant High draw amps.
