I just did a little research about .apk files - to install them you have to install the Android SDK on you computer

I'm personally not going to do that just to try out an early version of timing app.

Vitali - why don't you put the app on the Android Marketplace? I'd wager that you will get a lot more feedback...

You don't need to install the SDK. Go to the market place download astro file manager to your phone. Connect the phone to the computer put the .apk in your SD card then open Astro find the file tap it and it will install. That is pirate software try before you buy.

On the ladder task, the only way to re-set it after starting, is to kill the app., then re-start from 30 seconds.

Is there another way to start over?

Nice fix.

Any way to stop the "back" key on the bottom of the Android phone from losing all the data?....or is this a function of the Android itself?

I can use the phone and get on-line without disturbing a timing sesion already in progress.....but, when I accidently hit the "back" button on the Android, the F3K file has to be re-opened, and the previous timing session is lost.

On the Droid, the buttons are WAY too small. The start/stop button should be really big to avoid timing errors in the heat of battle...

Otherwise, it's looking better and better...

The new upload is unusable.

The time is accelerated when pushing the back button and nothing can restore the time to normal....it continues to be accelerated.

And now, the browser and phone buttons kill the app.

Hi,
Could someone confirm this issue?
I do not have a real phone yet and in emulator it works as expected, only home button was not possible to disable. I think at real device it's not possible to disable hardware buttons...may be not at all devices because they are manufacture specific. So I will remove this feature.

Thank you for effort, vitali

I do not see this on my Motorola Droid. All buttons are disabled (except the Home button) when the app is running. I can push "Back" all day and it doesn't do anything.

I decided to slide the phone open and see if any of the keyboard buttons caused a problem. No issues.

Actually, there is one issue - when I slide the phone open while the timer is running, the timer resets! Same thing when I slide the phone closed...

The flight/land button is still way too small
