I use the simprop acro 280bb from hobby lobby:
http://www.hobby-lobby.com/speed280.htm Use an 8-9 tooth pinion with this motor, those cells and stock blades. Use the stock 10 tooth with hrnet carbon fiber blades. Ball bearing supported and replaceable brushes. Many flights on mine with zero problems and the motoro still looks fantastic. Others have had good luck with an Orion motor and others with a speed 300. Good luck and let us know how it goes! Steve |

Very soon GWS will have a new motor for this replacement.
GWS EDF64-100, the duct fan motor is a special tunned up 280 motor. We tested many samples, and worked great! http://www.gws.com.tw/english/produc...stem/edf64.htm |
