I'm starting to see why the Twister is considered one of the best DLGs out there.

Alex,
With the asymmetrical airfoil on the tail, can a left handed thrower just flip the vertical stab over, or would a lefty need to order a left handed version of the Twister 2? At times, being left handed can be a curse....

Thanks,

Ryan Thompson

Ryan,

You just can flip the vertical. Reinforcements in the wingtip is made at both sides.

Jean Michel,

Just behind the main sparand about 2 cm from the rooth. You can cut through the carbonfibre triangle at the bottom side. DS281 won't fit in this wing so i recommand atlas Hyperion D09.

Hi Stefano,
Posting it on the site would be just to tempting for everyone and cause you to go Twister crazy so I am trying to help you avoid the pain;-)

With the limited supply I have a delivery list with those committed. I am happy to Email you the details and add you to the list if you like?
You can contact me directly at cliffw at atlantahobby.com.

I can tell you that I am loving my Twister beyond compare. I am not an expert by any stretch buy like fine products and the first time I threw mine it launched so much higher than I was use to that I stopped and watched it go up and had to remind myself to fly it;-)

Good Golly,

Has this Forum grown into a commercial venture now ?

Last time I launched my Salpeter was this afternoon. It launched just so much higher than the Twister I could hardly believe my eyes

Thanks for the good words Yves.
I do love my Twister but as I said, as a novice in the competition scene when I can tell a difference in my launches the difference is big. I am sure all would agree that that these new molded machines with RDS being so clean and with the new fully molded fuses being so stiff that this all adds up to make a measurable difference in launch height and any increase in performance is welcome.

With the availability of these ships being so tight (made by hand one at a time) there is no commercial venture here. Now with that being said and as an "Executive VP Sales" I am sure that you can understand that if they could be supplied like I get ARF's, 2000 at a time then you would have a commercial venture.

(it's all about fun)
Good winds

Not so sure 'bout the sales pitch and commercial aspect. Actually rather suspicious of the contrary.

Hand made, one at a time ? Well at 700 or more, they make 7000 per month if they make ten units. Don't know about you but I have to work nearly one entire day to make that kind of money ;-)
